CHRYSLER 300 BODY KITS


Chrysler 300 performance body kits are nowadays being manufactured from different materials. All have some advantages and disadvantages and selecting a body kit of a particular material depends totally on the price, conditions, usage and other various factors. The different materials could be polyurethane body kits and others, made up of fiber glass, carbon fiber, ABS plastic etc.

Before you purchase a Chrysler 300 body kit or any body kit for that matter, you first have to know that there are three types of body kit: wide body, bumper replacement and the lip. Depending on the style you have in mind, one of these three can really make your Chrysler 300 stylish. Aside from the types, you also need to be aware of the two materials body kits are usually made of. Body kits are mostly made of either fiberglass or urethane.

The biggest advantage of attempting your Chrysler 300 body modification and then replacing it with polyurethane is its durability. Now coming to the disadvantage because of which you would not love to hit your car and cause an impression on it. Polyurethane body kits are not easily repairable or in some cases, it is impossible do retain the original shape of it and you will only have to replace it with new one as the car dents are not going to be removed you have to be even more careful on the road.

Fiberglass is for those people who live in places where the weather is fine and the road is good. Since fiberglass can break it easily, you have to exposed in places where the risk of damaging it is minimal hence, it can be only driven in places where the roads are smooth. The good thing though about fiberglass is that when it gets damaged, it can be repaired.

Unlike fiberglass, urethane is highly resistant to damages and is for those people living with harsh weather conditions. Urethane can stand cold places and is designed to withstand damages. Urethane, however, when damaged cannot be repaired. Hence, you will have to replace it. Depending on what kind of weather conditions you have, you will have to choose one among the two. The key to a long lasting 300 is choosing the correct one that best fits you.
