Ecno Exclusive Lamborghini Gallardo 560-4 - modified
Ecno Exclusive from the Saxon town of Chemnitz has taken a shot at modding the Lamborghini Gallardo 560-4. The Ecno package includes at customized carbon fibre glove, a 100% carbon fibre GT3 design front bumper as well as side skirts and an engine update that pumps out 620 HP with 575 Nm of torque. The combined upgrade package costs about 21,950 euros. Check out more details on upgrades after the jump.

Nice Design Morgan Fuel-Cell Concept Car with Picture 2I suppose, these auto shows will never stop surprising us and car creators will never get tired of making new and completely great cars. Have you ever heard about Morgan? Yeah, but apart from a famous fashion apparel brand, it is the traditional British car brand, and it has officially announced that it is going to launch a LifeCar concept, that is a hydrogen-fueled car possessing a wood-frame body. This super car will be presented at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show.

Modern Futuristic Morgan Fuel-Cell Concept Car on Back Body with Picture 4The hydrogen is converted to electricity using a 4 stack hydrogen PEM fuel cell. Apart from 22 kW of electricity, the fuel cell produces only heat and water as by-products. The fuel cell made by QinetiQ operates at 45% efficiency, a significant advance over the conventional internal combustion engine. Electricity is directed to 4 electric motors/generators, each connected directly to a driving wheel. Not only are these motors super-efficient – 92-94% across their operating range - but they have inbuilt re-generative braking, recapturing the kinetic energy for when vivid acceleration is required (and reducing energy consumption still further). Whilst regenerative braking is not a new concept, current applications offer around 10% energy reuse, whereas in LIFECar, up to 50% of this stored kinetic energy can be re-employed. This regained energy needs to be efficiently stored and delivered. Historically this has been the job of batteries, which are rich in heavy metals, heavy in weight and limited in their ability to deliver or receive high power bursts of energy. LIFECar has shunned these in favour of a bank of ultra capacitors. These have the ability to shuffle up to 1000 amps back and forth, maximising energy storage during braking and delivering powerful acceleration.
Cute Design Morgan Fuel-Cell Concept Car in Front with Picture 5The Morgan LIFECar takes a fresh look at transport, offering as revolutionary an approach to personal freedom as did the brilliant Morgan Threewheeler introduced by HFS Morgan nearly 100 years ago. The LIFECar is powered by a fuel cell that is sized to meet the constant load requirement of cruising (about 20% of peakpower) and as a result significant weight and cost reductions have been made over other designs. By recapturing energy during braking, maximum performance is available to LIFECar for acceleration from this unique mix of technologies. The initial concept was the brainchild of Hugo Spowers of RiverSimple, a specialist company investigating new ideas in environmentally sound transport solutions. In order to realise LIFECar however, several partners were needed to make the concept a reality. The project is based around hydrogen as the fuel source because when it burns the only emission is pure water. Hydrogen is potentially abundant and Spowers brought in Linde to the project for their expertise across the whole hydrogen supply chain from production and distribution through to their high pressure refuelling systems.

The Mazda Furai: Like Sex on Wheels
Specifically, we are going to talk about luxury from a very surprising, very unexpected — by me, at least — source: Mazda.
You cannot take even the shortest glimpse at the concept for the Mazda Furai without admitting that this car is definitely luxurious. It just screams richness with the way it looks. It is an interpretation on the Nagare design, an award winning aesthetic named after a Japanese term known to mean “the embodiment of motion,” as well as “flow.”
Both terms most definitely apply to the Furai concept. This low slung beauty looks both powerful and high class, the kind of thing you expect to see in the next James Bond film.

McLaren SLR MODIFIED with 5 Kg Gold and 600 Rubi
Last year, this gold-plated car was modified by the owner, now a luxury car has been completed. Crazy, gold is pinned to the car has a weight of up to 5 kilograms.
The car named McLaren SLR 999 was first shown in May 2010 and will be back on display at the event modifications MY CAR in Dortmund, Germany starting 11 to 14 November 2010.

New Nissan 350Z Super Sports Car Modifications Concept
Nissan's sporty, front-wheel-drive Maxima sedan returns for 2010 with no changes to its standard 3.5-liter V6 engine.The Maxima's VQ35DE engine is part of Nissan's ubiquitous VQ engine family, also used in the Altima, Murano, Quest, and earlier versions of the 350Z sports car. The VQ is one of the most respected engines in the auto industry, appearing on Ward's 10 Best Engines list every year from 1997 to 2007.
The VQ35DE is an all-aluminum, 24-valve DOHC V6, with Nissan's continuously variable valve timing system (CVTCS) on both the intake and exhaust cams. In 2009, Nissan made extensive changes to this engine, revising the intake and exhaust manifolds; raising its compression ratio from 10.3 to 10.6:1; reducing internal friction and reciprocating mass; and adding CVTCS to the exhaust cam, as well as the intake. Those modifications raised the engine's output to its present level of 290 horsepower and 261 lb-ft of torque.
The 3.5-liter engine endows the Maxima with strong performance. Some reviewers find off-the-line response slightly lazy, a function of the standard Xtronic continuously variable transmission, but once on the move, acceleration is impressive. Fuel economy is also reasonable for the engine's size and power. The EPA rates the Maxima at 19/26 city/highway, although the V6 requires premium fuel.
While it is powerful and reasonably frugal, the 3.5-liter V6 is also noticeably gruffer and less refined than the 3.0-liter version of this engine found in earlier Maximas. While some critics like its throaty growl and sporty full-throttle roar, others find it excessively noisy, and complain that it drones at cruising speeds.
A more sophisticated 3.7-liter version of this engine, the VQ37VHR, has replaced the 3.5-liter V6 in the 370Z and most six-cylinder Infinitis. Nissan has not yet announced plans to offer the 3.7-liter engine in the Maxima and Altima.
